# Delete a knowledge base

> Permanently delete a knowledge base.

Drops the underlying vector store collection together with every
associated document and the knowledge base record itself.

Args:
    knowledge_base_id (`str`):
        The knowledge base to delete.
    user_id (`str`):
        Injected authenticated user ID.
    service (`KnowledgeBaseService`):
        Injected knowledge base service.
